    Hey Hey :D
I've got a Moto V3 but after searching their website I find no trace of it nor the files needed to install the program into my PC for the link between phone and PC.
I didn't get a CD with the phone so I'd be grateful if anyone could help
    Cheers :)

You cannot download it as it costs. It gets given free with specific Motorola phones, but the V3 and V3X does get shipped with it as standard.

The cable you use to connect the phone is called a mini-USB cable and is a standard cable so you can buy them cheaply from places like EBuyer and use them interchangeably with other phones with the same connnection such as Orange phones.

I know that my Motorola L6 phone did not come with phone tools but works with my Motorola V3X software. I think that they all pretty much use the same software.

The software has options to automatically update to the latest version.

If you have a friend with any V3/V3X or L6 with the phone software, just install it - it will work. ;)

Worse case scenario, if you can't find anyone else to help, PM me, and I'll burn a copy and send it to you. There is a lot of stuff on the CD, but the installation software for the phone tools isn't that large, but I am not sure what is relevant and what is not, so you'd really need a copy of the whole CD. (See whether you can get the software first from a friend though - my main desktop computer recently died on me, and I don't want to mess around with this laptop I am using at the moment to install software to try and burn a CD).

Gets shipped free with the V3 eh? I've found out that it's actually a V3r, tesco just didn't bother to tell me  Does this mean the software wasn't supposed to come through then? :o Grrrr pay £70 for a phone and they want more for software!
  • I recently bought a v3 and that didn't include the disc and leads. I went on ebay and bought a pack of goodies from someone whose v3 had been stolen so the extras were no good for them. Search on there you are bound to find what you want going cheap.
