    i'm back!

sorry to hear about your news ali, hopefully you will get some answers now.

i went for my scan, baby was fine but only six weeks along so i have to go back in two weeks for another scan. i can keep going back to epu until i am in second trimester which is good.

    there was one problem though:

the nurse said i had a heart shaped womb which i wish i hadn't googled! looks like a lot of women with this miscarry. also can cause early labour and breech so can result in a c section.

    anyone got experience of this?

i am just going to take one day at a time with this pg and see what happens.

Im so pleased for you. I was dreading you coming back with bad news.
My consultant thinks I may have a 'deformed' womb. They are in the process ticking things off in the search for a cause of death for Felix and that was one of them. Can't do any of the planned tests though because Im pregnant.

I too was told it can cause A LOT of problems in a pregnancy and like you said, may cause a m/c.

But its speculation isn't it. I think taking things 1 day at a time is a great idea, thats exactly what Im doing.

i expect the bad news will come around week 12 like last time. fingers crossed it will work out this time though.

at least they have spotted this problem and i am going to get regular scans at epu so will see how it goes.

thanks. they were really nice at epu. i need to get a normal midwife as they are just monitroing me for reassurance purposes. they only get involved with the midwifes if they find complications. so my womb mustn't be anything to worry about really.
