I have samsung galaxy europa on o2 PAYG.. I keep getting msg to say I will be charged £1 for using data even tho I dont go on internet or if I do I use wifi to connect to homehub

Is this right? Dont fancy ringing customer svs as last time I was on for ages and told rubbish ie they couldnt send me multi media settings for the handset, turns out that the handset was faulty!!

Have you switched off all the data services? Most are defaulted to 'o'n unless you do. The phone will be auto checking when your out of the house if not.

As above, by default the phone will consume mobile data when not on wifi by default (and wifi turns off when the screen does by default).

Grab APNDroid from the Market to turn it off forever.

They weren't talking rubbish. You can't send MMS settings to that handset.
