Oil surge on corners as above, your'e probably using a bit. Beware though that warning light won't trigger untill untill somewhere between 15 and 5 psi, ie, very low;)
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

you could have popped the bonnet, drawn out the oil level dipstick and seen the level quicker than it took to write your post.

Don't people ever check their oil/water levels anymore? Or does the average person now think a car is a "just add fuel" commodity

it is surprising the amount of people that do not check fluid levels and tyre pressures at least once a week.

Also, avoid driving that car until you've sorted this.

On many cars these days, when that light is on it's already too late, however as you got it whilst cornering, the level wont be as low just yet

where did you get that from?

What good is a low oil level indication light if the damage has already been done

sorry but that's just pure nonsense

  • When I have the bonnet up to check oil/fill washer fluid etc, I get comments from neighbours along the lines of "car broken down, mate?" "summit up with your car?" etc.
