d3mon4ngel - what are you making for your grandad? (Nosy stitchy!)

To be honest, I'm not sure yet! I've been trying to decide what to do for the past 2 weeks and I've only got about 5 hours left to make the decision before it becomes too late! Little Miss Indecisive... :o

I was thinking maybe a pouch type thing, for him to use either as a glasses case, or to keep his mobile phone in (though he might not hear it at all if it's inside something!). It's only going to be simple as it's his birthday tomorrow, but I'm sure he'll appreciate the thought. He doesn't like me spending money on him, and I never know what to get him, but it's his 80th so I really want to do something nice for him :)

If anyone else can think of something that's simple to make, but would suit please, I'm all open to suggestions!

Oh, thought of another for my list - transfer funds for my Virtual Sealed Pot. Checked my Co-op account, and found out that they had opened the savings account I'd applied for, but haven't told me about it yet lol

Evening all! Thank the Lord it's Friday!!!!!!
I have just about run out of oomph this week - no weekends off for two weeks with arranging and going to a funeral and all that entails and no day off from work either, and a parents evening thrown in for good measure (who'd be a teacher!) - I am pooped!

    So, today I have/will....
    • Walked little dog twice in the gales (poor pooch)
    • Took packed lunch of lefftovers to work
    • Checked emails etc
    • Checked bank
    • Phoned mum to make sure she's ok with free minutes
    • Tidied kitchen
    • Bought wine on offer for tonight
    • Will stay in and watch the rugby (Come on Wales!)
    • Caught up on a bit of recorded telly - can't remember the last time I sat down for an hour!
    • Done menu plan and shopping list for tomorrow
    • Will have a nice bath later
    • All food from stores
That's all for today- tomorrow will have to be a big list!
