Caelshorn glad you had a nice time with your friends last night.
Flower I wasn't required to have a full bladder either but took a bottle of water with me just in case as this baby has continually stayed really low down and I wasn't sure if she would would be clear of my pelvic area yet for the scan. I would second giving them a quick call to double check though so that you are not sat in a waiting room desperate for the loo when you don't need to be.
Killiegirl sorry I haven't mastered list editing yet using the despised iPad but welcome I hope you are having and continue to have an enjoyable pregnancy and one of the more technical ladies will add you to the list through the day.
Pigpen I hope that you have a fab time at the party tonight....just no dancing in the shoes!
Hope everybody is enjoying the weekend and for the ladies in their last trimester are feeling fit to finish off the last bits and pieces......and also lots of labour vibes to any ladies who are now at term and require them.0 -
Thank you for the replies everyone, I dont have a letter with the appointment on they just wrote it on the back of my green book.
Had read elsewhere that it seems to be different for different hospitals so will give them a quick call to see!
I think we are going to find out flavour Caelshorn, I wasnt too bothered about finding out, think its quite nice to have the surprise, but OH hates surprises and is desperate to find out so I am happy to go a long with thatBiggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
Hope everything goes well with your scan Flower and your baby is feeling in a cooperative mood for it.
. We were in and out in under 15 mins which really helped as my baby decided to push as far down the way as she possibly could which was less than comfortable! :rotfl:

I hope he/she cooperates as well! At the 12 week scan baby wouldnt stay still for longer than 5 seconds while they were trying to do the measurements :rotfl: very strange to see when I couldnt feel anything!
Has been very nice the last 2 weeks to be able to feel baby moving, makes it seems so much more realBiggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -
I'm still ouchy today ... only got up at 11am so I've had plenty of rest. I've got to try and get into town today as DD has her eyesight test and I am not leaving someone else to pick her glasses!!!
Whilst in town I need to pop to Boots and get some No7 facial wipes with my advantage card points. This is going to just about kill me. On the plus side, we're having dinner with my parents so I don't have to cook.
33 weeks today
Oooh, might get some raspberry leaf tea from Holland and Barrett whilst I'm up that part of town too ..... I need all the help I can get to ensure this little man comes out nice and quickly as soon as we reach termOlympic Countdown Challenge #145 ~ DFW Nerd #389 ~ Debt Free Date: [STRIKE]December 2015[/STRIKE] September 2015

Good luck for your scan flower - I had an empty bladder (literally had to go to the loo before I went in) and the sonographer moaned a bit that it was too empty but she still managed to get all of the measurements.
Happy 33 weeks mrsspendalot!

MrsS would your mum maybe help with picking the frames for your DD? If you can trust her taste/judgement then it would save you a lot of discomfort and they would both probably really enjoy it.0

Welcome killiegirl!
My 20 week scan appointment letter says drink 2 pints of water an hour before!! Are they crazy?! There is no way my bladder will hold that much water. Will check with my midwife on Monday at my 16 week appointment but I am certain you don't need to have a full bladder. At my 13 week dating scan, my bladder was too full and baby was all squished hee hee. So I had to empty it and they could still see all they wanted to - very clearlyThank you to everyone for sharing competitions!0 -

She would if she could, but she is having her hair appointment today and they are busy trying to do last minute bits for their holiday so she wouldn't have time. I would have asked her otherwise. It's ok, I'll just have to go steady and take my crutchesOlympic Countdown Challenge #145 ~ DFW Nerd #389 ~ Debt Free Date: [STRIKE]December 2015[/STRIKE] September 2015

For my 20 week scan I drank a cup of tea before I left the house, that was it. They managed the scan fine.Olympic Countdown Challenge #145 ~ DFW Nerd #389 ~ Debt Free Date: [STRIKE]December 2015[/STRIKE] September 2015
