Hi all and massive congrats Coops, hope you can get some stability soon and breatfeeding works out ok. I would be interested to hear any tips you lear, as I want to breastfeed too.

I'll join on on the rant re: those who don't help themselves, or rather do help themselves to government money, as a member of my family did this for a few years and to some extent still relies on tips and tricks to get his way. So annoying as OH and I saved hard for 6 years to get a deposit and cut back on everything, but this person is now buying their place from the government/council at a fraction of the cost, plus his new partner will get to enjoy it too. Harrummmpf.

Labour vibes to Alfalfa - I got the day right now! And anyone else who needs them.

I realise with some terror I have 17 more weekends of freedom! I am putting together a 'Bucket List' of sorts of things I want to achieve before then, body permitting - would anyone like to do this on here so we can support eachother?[/QUOTE]

Are you meaning a list of things you want to do before you become a parent?
I've missed the boat on that one if so but I would like to move house before this baby comes! - we are looking at a couple of places on Saturday so hopefully one of them will be suitable for the time being =- fingers crossed!!!

If DD3 had been a boy I was leaving her at the hospital.. Had I known then what I know now I would have left her regardless.

    Eh??????????????

Seriously, I was adamant she was not coming home if she was a boy.. I insisted on a scan at 23 weeks to find out her gender so I had time to arrange an adoption for her before the birth.. of course, I'm not telling her any of that!

and yes, she is a total winnie!

I could add to the rant too but im too tired today lol. Im struggling to keep my eyes open.

Ive managed to take kids to school and nursery, went food shopping and cleaned the bathroom. Im totally done in now.

The only things on my bucket list are practical boring things like, batch cook for the freezer and stay on top of house work. My nights out with my OH or friends dissappeared 6 years ago.

Teenie, I often get tightenings down low in the evening. I always take my RLT after my dinner. I didnt put 2 and 2 together but they could be because of that. Some are quite strong like contractions. I thought it was BH but when i told my MW last week she said no as BH is a tightening of the bump. ive never experienced braxton hicks then.

I even started my contraction timer app on my phone to see and it said its false labour lol.
Its only been in the last 2 weeks since i started taking 3 a day.

:( why did you risk having another child? - is there a genetic risk/problem with boys?

Sometimes I get wound up at the lack of support for people who work and want to continue working after maternity leave. The sad fact is that for most they get more money if they dont work. Its crazy. Whilst Im in the mood for a moan , another woman in my distant family is pregnant and I hear snippets from my gran about how she is getting on. She fell pregnant by accident ( not judging on that because my baby was a happy accident :o ) but her on/off partner was flabbergasted , he thought all precautions had been taken, anyhoo this woman spends half her week at my grans house sleeping in spare room ( no rent or keep) then spends rest of the time at my own mothers. Her on/off partner decided to do the decent thing and bought her a car to run around in and also a three bed semi next to the best school in the town, and has told her to drop to part time hours and he will cover all the costs  Meanwhile my OH has been trying to fleece me into buying him a van and hasnt given it a second thought that we are bringing a baby home to a one bed flat. Some people seem to land in poo and come out smelling of roses .NOT ME ! LOL
Thanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

Thanks for the labour vibes! Really need them today. Had no real signs of labour, plan of action this afternoon is to make a hot curry from my Jamie Oliver cookbook, bounce on my ball for a bit, get on all fours for a bit to encourage the baby to move round and then jump on OH. Let's hope something works!

I feel ready for a rant too about this blumming government! Me and OH have worked constantly since school, I worked part time through college and full time when at university. We earn a pretty decent wage between us but now I'm on SMP and only plan on going back to work 3 days we've looked into what we can claim. It's not a lot but we're going to make sure we claim everything we can!

I look at it this way, if we couldn't afford this child we would not have decided to have a baby. Sure, if we're offered money that we're entitled to we'll take it but I'm proud to say that my baby will be well looked after because of myself and my OH working to provide for it!

    Mini rant over!

Afternoon everyone, im soooo tired and achy and in pain. But on a good note, my GP wrote me a prescription for more Co-Dydramol without me making another appointment :j

I now have another box of 100 of them to see me through, although i imagine i'll get through these quicker as im in so much more pain all the time now.

My growth scan is Monday then consultant afterwards, Lily is going to spend the morning with her nan :D (i'll miss her :()

Im now #21 on the list (excluding boldies) :j
