Border terrier puppy care

Hi, Bella is doing really well. She'll be having her last jabs this weekend so looking forward to taking her out for walks soon. She's a little star at night, settles at 10pm, I set my alarm for 2am to let her out for the loo then she sleeps until 7am. We are consistently trying to tackle the feet/trouser leg biting too!
It's been a lot harder than we thought but hopefully our hard work will pay off!
Not sure how to post a photo - tried to post a link but as I'm new MSE said I couldn't??

aw, your post made me smile
we have three border terriers, they really are the most fabulous breed! re the biting, when you've been nipped make a whining sound like you've been really hurt, really really over exaggerate it (make sure the neighbours aren't in lol) we found this stopped the biting straight away! Some people create their own storms....then get upset when it rains!0 -
Hi
I have a little BT too, she's 2 now and a complete treasure. We've had our moments though
She also used to bite and pull on my trouser legs which meant I couldn't walk anywhere. So someone told me to fill a small plastic bottle with stones and rattle the bottle when she pulled or bit. I have to say it worked a treat. She only needed to see the bottle to know what she was doing was wrong and she stopped. :T
We've just lost our other dog, so enjoy every magical moment when they are puppies. And BTs are the best

Hi Huggy_Bear, I was told the same thing about the bottle filled with stones, it very quickly became Truffle's favourite toy.:). Obviously works for some though. Sorry to hear about your other dog.0
