Cashback query for Mobiles.co.uk

Hi there
Just a quick question for all of you out there.
Basically I am at the end of a cashback deal but due to the way Mobiles.co.uk work the last cashback is due from a bill which is only generated after my contract has terminated - as the first month for them was the month following my start date and hence what they classified as the first bill was in fact my second one.
This last bill shows a small credit (as they bill in advance) and obviously does not state line rental as the term of the contract has ended.
Has anyone managed to get their cashback back based on a credit bill? Or am I right in thinking they will not pay out due to this?
It seems their terms state that I need to send the bill in and still be connected (for they say the term of the contract) but as the contract was for a length I have completed prior to the bill being generated this seems unachievable.

Bill numbers are totally irrelvant and always have been. A complete red herring dating back years.
The only thing which matters is a) you submit the correct Month's bill and you should know which that is if you've had all your previous claims accepted and you've follwed the t&c at the point of sale. Whether it's a credit or debit balance is also irrelevant - as long as if shows the contract has run for a full 12 months to the day. The must remain connected is another red herring; it's a so many months free or so many months at such a cost after redemption on an x month contract; an x month contract MEANS x months - not x months plus a little bit more!0 -

Knowing cpw - yes, it does matter. I would NOt advertise it on here; they monitor this site and are quite inefficient so it may have slipped through. The early termination charge will draw it to their attention, however. I would contact the network and tell them they have not followed your instructions leading to 1) an undue early termination charge (BUT check it really WAS cut off early - some networks (Vodafone for example) charge a day even when you HAVE NOT terminated early!) and 2) the potential decline of your cashback claim due to the network's error.0
