There are big bugs in shropshire !
I have told this before on here, but it fits in with everyone saying about bugs in soft fruit. This is why I dont eat soft fruit anymore.....
A while back on TV there was a programme about the jewish faith and it being Kosher and what it involves.
There was a clip of the jewish food police ( a sort of rabbi, dedicated to looking after the kosher food in manchester ) He was shown washing blackberries in salt water to get rid of the bugs in blackberries, There were loads of them inside. We had been pick your owning earler in the week and I had stuffed myself silly on soft fruit whilst going around. My OH said I went white as a sheet whilst it was on.
Never touched soft fruit since.0 -

i used to eat black/raspberries when out bramble picking. sometimes i still do. i know there are insects in there probably, and they dont make a slight bit of difference except maybe a nice cruch every now and then.0 -
