http://www.carclampingsecurities.com/ - did you know they are the only VAT registered company in the midlands?

These cowboys are just a joke.

Thanks for brightening up my day.

That is great news, just one thing I totally disagree with the last paragraph of the article:

"Councillor Neil Eustace, chairman of the public protection committee, said: “We hope this will send out a clear message; that illegal car clamping will not be tolerated and those conducting such activities will not only face prosecution but also jail.” "

Car clamping, legal or not, should just plainly not be allowed. By clamping a car they are manipulating other peoples property and I can imagine that damage can easily be caused. Not just that, unless you pay you don't get it back and that in my mind is just plain blackmail.

As for that crook who finally got pulled out of circulation for a while, I sincerely hope that one his co-inmates may have been a gang of robbers who due to his clamp deprived them of a get-away-vehicle. (I know this reads a bit ridiculous, but pleaseeeeeeeeee let me dream :D)

great find, btw. I'd be happy for the whole pond to be banged up, but my thoughts on these scammers are well known.

Agree with the sentiment but the ARA ceased to exist on 1st April 2008.

However that doesn't preclude W Mids Police launching their own recovery action under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
Hopefully then the courts will see fit to deprive him of HIS vehicle and see how he likes it !!
