Quidco £106 cashback for iphone
Has anyone actually got the £106 cashback from quidco for an iphone on 'The One Plan' deal.
I was just speaking to a 3 rep to find out if and when the 16gb would be back instock online and they seemed to think this deal was too good to be true.
Even with the 16gb out of stock I'm just about to buy the 32gb instead as this does seem like a fantastic deal. Can anyone put my mind at rest.
Cheers

I ended up requesting my PAC code from them yesterday as they would not offer me an upgrade deal on i Phone 4. The retentions guy was implying it must be a scam and that there would be no margin in an iPhone 4 deal to a dealer sold with that cashback.
I advised him 'quidco' are not a 'dealer' but a cashback site that his own company deal with !!
To be fair to 3, in the past when I have 'threatened to leave', their retentions staff have been pretty switched on. Not in this case sadly. I had to explain that Quidco don't expect me to send in copies of my phone bill etc.
I explained I have saved nearly £400 through Quidco over the last 3 three years (ie switching utilities etc) and have no reason to doubt the credibility of them.
Indeed, when you click on the ad on the Quidco site - it redirects to the three UK main website (with Quidco's affiliate ID as part of the URL).
This would indicate to me that Quidco have this deal setup with 3 Head Office - i.e three are *Paying commission* to Quidco.
Unless Quidco are running this a loss leader, there is more than £106 markup to dealers on i Phone 4 packages.
I've got my PAC code. I will transfer my three number to a free SIM card
.
Next I will sign up (possibly get wife to do it so they don't see me as a recent existing customer) through Quidco and get the £106 cashback on the One Plan with iPhone 4.
I've not found a cheaper deal elsewhere. Also, the One plan has no restrictions on the Internet usage. Its called 'all you can eat' - and they boast there are no stupid 'reasonable use' clauses (source: 3 uk offical blog site)
Frankly, this is crazy logic from 3 retentions department. I would have even stayed if they offered me the iPhone 4 for free (instead of £69). The three business is actually going to end up forking out more money by me going through Quidco (i.e my £106 and whatever Quidco will earn).
If anyone else has, then let me know please.
Cheers

I just phoned Vodafone to get my PAC code and after trying very hard to put me off going to Three (you only get a good signal when O2 is not busy, it's not as reliable etc etc!!) She said she had heard of the Quidco offer and that it was for 4 days only? It doesn't state this anywhere, but if you are going to go for it, it might be better to be quick!0
