wilo pump for biasi boiler

Hello

wonder if someone could point me in the right direction please

I have a BIASI boiler and this morning the electricity kept tripping when using the hot water.

I've been advised I need a replacement pump. It's a WILO Typ NFBL 12/6 HEP-1c no 4817167

I've been on the WILO website but am really unsure as to what one I need

Am in Scotland if that makes any difference as would prefer to receive it asap and was hoping someone could help me source it and any idea approx how much

Thanks

Does it trip when the heating is on / does the heating work ok??

  • as soon as the boiler comes on ie when i run the hot water it trips, it wasn't staying on long enough to heat. Was only lasting a few secs and tripping

I've been told there's a leak and you can see the water damage

    It was ok last nite

    Ta,

    Be more specific though.
If you DONT run the hot water and it's on heating - does it work ok??

  • Sorry........... no as soon as it was switched on even without running the hot water it would trip

Heatings not working at all. A neighbour who is corgi registered has loooked at it tonight and reckons its the pump because of the water damage. He's really busy just now and He's asked me to source it online.

The boiler is only JUST out of warranty last October and as I do, I kept on saying I need to get on the Gas plan esp with all the bad weather we were having but needless to say I haven't done it

He says it's not the type of pump you can just pick up locally and I was just wondering how easy it would be get and how quickly. Als the info that I've given doesnt seem to match any of the pumps on the website.

Sorry for being so vague but I really dont know where to start

    Hi.

Ok, it may be the pump but it may just be where water is getting into a connection and causing the trip. It may be worth sorting the leak first.

Sry can't be more helpful without seeing it....;)

Thanks.....I tried to upload pics of it earlier but can't ........

the water damage looks quite bad and i realise that i need a new pump but my big prob is that I cant find the equivalent of my old one one on the WILO site

    Thanks

    Hi,

Mine is a biasi as well!!

As I said, it may not be the pump so don't go ahead with this just yet. I'd suggest the water leak is sorted first.

I'll have a look at mine tomorrow.
Mine is a Riva Advance HE

If you pull down the front flap / cover. There will be a small silver sticker that shows the exact model number.

I have done a bit of searching and all the Riva Compact HE's have one of the 2 following pumps according to the spares lists

Have you read the codes on your pump correctly?

Can you see a model number on a data label anywhere, something like M96.28SM/C2 (GC No. 4758306)

You will also need the boiler serial number to know the exact pump, or pump head needed.
