Future of OneTel

Has anyone any idea what the future holds for OneTel users? I have been with them for three years and the broadband service is slowly deteriorating in terms of reliability. Three or four times recently the service has gone down on a Saturday afternoon, as if for maintenance. First sign is that internet access drops, light out on the router, etc. No sense out of help line or network status (I "borrow" neighbour's wireless connection). reboot in 2-3 hours seems to be a common response, but the service invariably comes back up at around 9 am on Monday morning, as if someone has just come on shift.
Thing is, who to change to? We are some distance away from the exchange and service/speed will probably be less that brilliant and I really don't want to go back to BT
