The weddings not till tomorrow and I have an overdose of it already.
Underground - now there's something I hadn't thought of, nice one HandyNargleblast wrote: »Well, I shall be in front of that there telly tomorrow, box of tissues at the ready, soppy beggar that I am. I know that there has been a bit of overkill over the past week or two - Will and Kate life stories, Will and Kate souvenirs, Will and Kate wedding plans, knit-your-own Will and Kate etc etc but it is nice, you must admit, to have some happy news on the telly instead of some boogers blowing each other up. Or some other boogers shafting the general public for millions whilst awarding themselves big fat pay bonuses.
Knit your own royals hey! takes all sorts I guess. Hope you enjoy it Nargle. I've checked and it looks safe for me to switch on the tv around 4.30pm when Shrek is onBig kid me, I like me cartoons!

Hmmmm - if I was a bit more techy I could probably work out how to disable all images on the web through my browserA smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -

Night night trollbusters!
Hi all, I was going to have a quick look in before turning in for the night, then I saw Nargles post.
I would like to tell you a conversation I heard last week between Lady Hooray and the Honorable Edward Smallwealth.
They were talking about the program Meet The Middletons, they were on about Kate (sorry Catherine's) Great Aunt, who is about as normal working class as you can get.
Lady H said well every family has poor relations, she's probably never met her. The Hon Edward (Spitting Image of Michael Winner) Said My dear I have met all of my Great Aunts (probably to tap them up for a few quid).
Well said Lady H She's certainly out of her league, Marrying much to far above her station.
This is the same person who had just told her 15 year old grand daughter that the only way a woman of her class can be successful and happy is to marry a rich man. (she should know having done it 3 times)
Royal or not, Hooray's or not they are still people. Whether or not your a Royalist or a Republican, I wish them the best just like I would any couple making a commitment.
As for all the hype, the sooner it's over the better as far as I'm concerned.
Regards all, Handy.:DMother Nature Don't Draw Straight lines, We are Broken Moulds in Life's Grand Design, We look a Mess but we're doing fine,

I too have been a right saddo and watched the wedding, feeling a great lump in my throat when I heard the cheers of the crowd. The bride looked elegant and classy, dare I say it more royal than some of the royals. I am so proud to be English and British and think it is great that people from all over the world travelled here to see this event. Whatever you think of this country of ours, we certainly know how to throw a bit of a do. And I know about the privilege and the taxation etc etc but it was one day of happiness amidst all the doom and gloom of the world.
Right - back to making the beds, scrubbing out the bogs, putting away the ironing (which OH did, good chap!) and then turning my attention to some fish and chips a la Nargle. One life - your life - live it!0 -
