  • Haha, the OH's have a lot to answer for :) Much easier to blame him than my rubbish willpower!!!

Today is going well so far, big bowl of porridge and a ginger nut biscuit at tea time! Hopefully going to have time for a run in the gym later and then OH is making dinner... might have a glass of wine depending in what dinner ends up being!

Does anyone else find the weekends hard when it comes to healthy eating and cutting back? I always find it so much easier to discipline myself mon-fri! Come the weekend I find it easy to undo all my hard work grrr! Will have to do better this time - can't fall at the 1st weekend!

I probably won't be on much over the weekend so hope you all have a good one, will look forward to a catch up on Monday!
  • Hey all!

Well it's been a stupidly busy week at work, I think my aim to update this every day was optimistic but hopefully I'll still manage a couple of times a week!

So duh duh duuuuuuuuh... weigh in this week: 141lbs!! 2lbs lost yay!! I'm not quite sure how this happened as I've been far to busy to exercise as much as I'd hoped but I have been trying to eat properly so maybe that's been enough to get started! I'm very chuffed, fingers crossed for next week!

Hope you're all good, I'll try and post again later!
  • Hello Sts! 2lbs that's fantastic! 12 to go. I've also lost 2lbs this week so I've also got 12 to go. Although I've been dieting a bit longer then you and have now lost 11 lbs this year I'm happy to report I'm back into my skinny jeans finally. They're still a bit tight but at least they do up now. Another couple of lb and they'll be perfect again.

Are you planning on exercising next week?

Thanks Tara, don't feel bad you're a lot lighter then me! I've been following slimming world (without going to class) and exercising a bit more. I've got a big course coming up in 6 months which will get me a promotion if I pass but most of it is fitness based so my DH is going to 'encourage' me in the gym now instead of leaving me to work on my own.

If it helps the biggest thing that makes a difference to me is the food. I swapped mince for quorn or turkey and as long as you add lots of herbs and sauce it tastes great. That one thing alone saves lots of fat and calories off a normal meal. I just need to stick at it now.. and leave the tin of quality street alone.. :A
