Mayling03, thank you for that, much appreciated, however, what i would like to know is are they 'reclaimable' as in how all the credit card charges used to be?

oh+my friend has had 3 charges but this was 18 months ago so, thankfully, has sorted his finances out since then.

They aren't reclaimable as the fee is 12 or under.

They are set at this price as charges of this level or under on credit accounts are allowed at law and deemed to be fair.

No the OFT decided that £12 was fair. You cannot reclaim by taking them to court (or threatening to).

You could of course read the credit card reclaiming guide here:-

You do give the appearence of being a troll.
Most of your posts seem to be random questions asked on behalf of a "friend". The answers to which could easily be found if you looked yourself.
  • OK, I may be being stupid but what does the term 'troll' refer to being please?
I work for first direct and have previously worked for Santander.
Any information I give should not been seen as being given from first direct or Santander however I do have certain knowledge from working there.

    Thank you, Chrissy

    Thats not so.
The OFT did not say £12 was fair.
They said that they would not launch a specific investigation on any card companies with charges lower than £12.

I know - I was perhaps being a bit too concise.
