Nope hanky panky, if you make the effort to read my other thread you'll see i asked a reasonable question and received a few wind-up replies! Please pay attention.

To anyone else, answers on this thread would be appreciated! Thank you.
  • I have read all your posts - hence my comment. Up to others to make their own decision - I still think you are on a wind up mission.

You ought to have an urgent review of all your financial products.
  • I agree with bengal-stripe here however the charges may be waived by your card provider depending on the circumstances and if you've incurred them before..?
I work for first direct and have previously worked for Santander.
Any information I give should not been seen as being given from first direct or Santander however I do have certain knowledge from working there.

    Thank you, Chrissy

Sigh!! So many assumptions!! Tut tut!
What's that saying? 'Assumption is the mother of all mess ups'!

No you two, you are both wrong with your assumptions. I have never had a charge on any credit card i have had. Quite simply, i work with other people who HAVE had a few charges+want to know if they are reclaimable.
  • You post something like that and people are going to assume it's you... ok... whoever this refers to probably needs to have a financial review... no wonder you're making so many enemies... you ask for advice, you get it, you have a go at people...

I would say if it is their first time, then yes usually the bank does it as a good will gesture, anymore then no. If his credit report is poor then the answer would be no they will not refund charges.
