lol - I am making him a board game and merging in a couple of our fave quick card games to earn points as you go around the board!!I am currently writing up cards for the game! Situation cards and help cards! You can collect help cards as you go around the board and you need particular help cards (which are members of our family) to get you out of the situation if you land on a 'life problem' spaces!! lol
Example - 'You are cooking a meal and manage to cause a fire which gets out of control and ruins half of your kitchen' Help card -Uncle Andrew.
You see Uncle Andrew is a fireman and he could have stopped the fire quickly!!So if you picked that 'Life Problem' card and had the Uncle Andrew card in your possession then you would not lose any points!
I may have just bored the hell out of everyone but i was bored and though i would explain what i was working on!!!! LOL!!:D:p:D:p

hello everyone - best of intentions to get this written up before coffee break this morning but work been a bit busy so perhaps not.
Very excited - took my slim wardrobe down from the top shelf and I am wearing a brand new pair of trousers and a Jacket I have only worn once (too small when I got them) so it feels like I have gained a whole new wardrobe for nothing!
Few of you seem to be enjoying your books just now - whats everyone reading? I have just started 'Room' by Emma Donoghue and its an amazingly written book but very traumatic and disturbing- may manage second NSD. No bread but no need for it until tomorrow so going to try hang on
- brought packed lunch (ham salad sandwich and strawberry yoghurt)
- tea will be same as last night - cooked too much. Chicken with sundried tomato, cream and rice
- check the usual online banking and stuff - dont expect anything to change
- see if I can get a decent pre-payment credit card. One I saw looked almost too good to be true and I dont trust the reviews - seem very 'professional'.
- go to visit new offices today. Not moving in till July but am very excited to see my new desk - going to take a photo
- gym at work tonight - doesnt cost a penny
- update food intake on foodfocus for continued motivation
- check for freebies
- early night home tonight I think and watch some lost. On series 5 now and its all getting a bit silly

Hi everyone
Back again…
Walking everywhere in my shape ups
Packed lunch
Free cuppa x 2 @ work
Used freebies & pressies - moisturiser, make up, perfume
Realised I haven't bought any fizzy drinks in a while80p a day on the machine at work is not cool
Phoning peeps from mobile with included mins; not from 'spensive house phone
In tonight
Deciding what to pay off cc this month…
Realised what happened with my direct debit this month - last month I transferred a balance but because my bill had already been generated and my bill was zero no direct debit was due to come out. Now I can obviously pay additional payment, but budget is mega tight so maybe best waiting until the end of the month and see what I can pay without going into overdraftdom… But I can imagine having nowt left as it is.. Maybe even pay just £100… Crikey this budgeting lark!
Littlekel - I love the sound of that game!! Mine would look rubbish and I'm not the very creative type but might keep it in mind…we always play cluedo at my sister's so could make it cluedo-esque with family members and rooms could be people's houses or something… got me thinking! :T
Angelflower - think I saw that book in the kindle store… I'm reading The Hundred and Ninety Nine Steps by Michel Faber. I loved his Crimson Petal and the White so thought I'd give this a go. Not long started it but think it's pretty short (weird reading on the kindle as I can't remember how far through the book I am - need to switch it on and see my '% through' scroll bar IYSWIM…) Set in Whitby so I can imagine I'm at the seaside!0 -
Hiya everyone,

- check on-line banking and update ss
- check surveys
- maybe go swimming, going to see what the weather is like later on as I have to walk up to the swimming pool
- quick tidy of house tonight - 2 nights in a row so far, hoping to keep it up so I don't have to spend so long at the weekend tidying!
- read Martin's e-mail
- Be positive - feeling pretty happy and chilled today, hopefully it will last!!

Kel! what a brilliant idea!!! and very creative!! you seem to have put a lot of hard effort into that board game!!! I would also say, it is very educational. You really have jogged my memory of a game I made many moons ago when I was a childminder. It was all to do with fire hazards in the home and a fire escape plan for the children. It was a simple game and back in those days, firemans sam was very popular with the kiddies. So I made cards from pictures of fireman sam to his red engine from his comic mags, to match the ones on the large board I made that included, pics of putting away toys, who to call in an emergency, walking down steps, the number to ring for emergency etc...... It was great. I still have it in my cupboard!!:D I really love the sound of your board game!! just fab!!:T0 -
Thanks Pernicious!! that weight loss had taken me over 3 years now. In the earlier years I had more mobility so I did more stretching working the whole body. Now I have to take things very gentle due to my ligament inherited condition. But at times it's no joy, but I have to do it to keep my muscles and liagments from spraining and gettting stiff with cramps ,which can happen just by turning a tap, writing, holding a medium size book, holding a carton of milk, drying my hair. In fact everyday normal things. But I am happy, :Dmanage fairly well on a day to day basis and keep at it the best I can!!:D

I didn't realise your condition was so bad! I can't even imagine something like that coming on just from turning a tap, but I'm glad you don't let it get you down! Nothing worse then letting yourself get defeated prematurely, from your previous posts your DD is a big help, & Fluffy of course, I hope you keep up your postive outlook as it's very refreshing for me:idea:Debt at July 2012: £12,862.57

Thanks very much Perni for your lovely comments. Yes its a collegen defect so I have been told , the tissue that holds our bones together, it makes muscles and liagments weak. My finger are loose at the joints, and my left little finger has lost its life!. I had learned last year, that the spinal problems I have degenerative disc problems were due to this conditon that was the underlying cause of my disability. Ahh yes my DD is truly fantastic, she's watched me blossom though through this condition. I never ever give up, and I really do love to have a laugh and think positive. And Fluffy, well he is my adorable 4 legged hairy Son!! so I have two children. My DD says everyday when she gets home from work,' hello my brother from another mother' He brings much happiness into our lives thats for sure!!0
