ah thanks La E :A:A:A I've already shouted & celebrated on the giving up smoking thread :p :j

This week has been quite stressful (and also PMT ) and aas am on meds can't have a drink so have been really noticing it! x

are you on the meds for the PMS by any chance and if so what? Hoping to come off mirtazapine soon (Dr. C has agreed) and go on St John's Wort (yes Dr. C is a hippie in disguise and a frugal one at that LOL)

Yep I also have hormonal trouble and didn't take my haloperidol last night so have too many visuals....LOL

Have you tried (maybe I'm preaching to the converted here....sorry if am) home made deo for hormonal pits? I use it and now can't go back to shop deo cos I come out in a rash :( and it's just bicarb and cornflour; works and stops the horrid hormonal pits :T

I had a very busy day yesterday! Busy because I am so slow at doing things:D but I get there in the end. Sorted out clothes for Oxfam, after given them a good wash!. Had them for years, old jumpers, t shirts, huge trousers:eek: size 16/18. nice to compare them to my size 12s:D. My carer was having a good laugh at some of them!! Got some blouses with big patterns on them!!:D

Had a delivery from Tescos, helped sort the freezer section out, had to make space. My cupboards are jam packed now!!! tins tins and more tins. All this should last for nearly 5/6 weeks, I hope!!

Been having a terrible time with sweets!:D. Had 4 mini bounties, 4 cup cakes, and a whole tin of rice pudding:eek:. Half a tin is 90 cals, and I won't mention the fat content:eek:. But All is well, a bit tired to say the least But loud and proud of getting it all done

  • Morning all :)

I've spent the last hour ironing the curtains I managed to launder and mostly dry yesterday (even had them on the washing line for a bit!). Think it's going to take a good chunk of the morning to get them sorted and back up.

I found a few bits to ebay yesterday, then realised we don't have a working camera - doh! Must think around that one.

    Today:

    - checked banking
    - checked credit card statement online
    - updated spending diary
    - done some surveys
    - laundry (no curtains today, thank goodness) on airer
    - heating turned down
    - dinner from stores/menu
    - lunch on leftovers
    - everyone else has a packed lunch
    - finish sorting freezer (ran out of time yesterday)
    - some decluttering in bedroom
    - should be a NSD today :j
    - make yet more soup and bread - we're getting through heaps of both!

Hope everyone has a good day. These daily threads are an encouragement to newbies like me. Felt quite down yesterday, but def. more upbeat today, so thanks all :D

  • Aww Rocks, I know what you meant hun, it's naughty snoop!!! Sincerely didn't mean any disrespect to you!! Have a great day, thank God the office was empty!!!
  • Today I'll be furiously hitting refresh on my ebay selling page - hoping what's up at the moment will fetch over £100! (currently £80.99 with 2 days to go).
