Just to update you guys, received my first letter since I got the ticket. It's from Roxburghe. Just says the expected, yak yak yak, give us money please, cut and paste text.... Yawn.

Love it, you have got the hang of the threatograms! :T

All are shown on here, Roxburghe are soooo predictable and then they pretend to be 'Graham White Solicitors' just to scare you:

You may even be lucky enough to get a phone call which would mean you could get them for harassment if you are so inclined. They are pathetic with their threats and we think may be mentioned on Watchdog quite soon.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Update:
Apparently Graham White phoned the house phone here. "Some paki bloke" is what I was told to be precise. LOL.

As I don't ever answer the phone - my parents do, what should they say?

Make sure that they tell Roxburghe aka Graham White absolutely nothing whatsoever - not even to confrim that you reside there or that you are out or whatever. If you parents would prefer they could simply tell them that they do not accept any calls from numbers they don't recognise and will discuss nothing of a pwersonal nature. Make sure they tell them that any further calls will be regarded as harassment.

If Mum & Dad are imaginative and wanted to enter into some sport they could always use some of the ideas discussed in this thread about the debt collectors Debitas.
My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016). :(

For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com

    Too late for that.
Is it best they pass the call to me so that I can tell them this? They have already told them that I wasn't in at the time of calling. I'm not entirely sure they will play ball with all the 'harrassment' stuff either. I think they are pretty sceptical...

Sceptical that companies exist that operate questionably? Or perhaps, that telling a debt collector that you will deal with any further contact from them as harassment?

With all due respect to your parents their scepticism is founded on a number of common misapprehensions - misapprehensions that PPC's and debt collectors play on in order to conduct their business. If you can persuade them to read some of the stickies at the start of this thread they may just realise that what is being suggested here is absolutely true.

Could I ask, how did they get your phone number?

They get the number from DVLA when people put it on their documents what they send back to DVLA. Never do it, it's not a legal obligation.

Ah well, they don't have mine I never give it out to anyone.

I do have a YAC number I use online, I keep getting emails with 3 sec voice message files though, once I had someone from an energy company going through their entire spiel to voice mail.

Pretty damn sure I never gave my home number to the DVLA. I don't even know what my home number is!
    Maybe the electoral register?
If not I too would love to know how they got my number!
