Oh dear... MS Publisher is not a web design program and if you use it as such, unless the page is very simple indeed may only work in Internet Explorer and maybe not well in the latest versions of IE.

If you must continue in this way make sure you check out the result in several browsers, Firefox, Chrome, Safari and on your phone. Even MS acknowledge that Publisher and Word produce 'crap code' as they include in their own web publication tool a utility for stripping out the crud produced by Publisher.

I cannot imagine that any "Web designer" will not want to scrap anything done in Publisher and start again. Sorry to have to say all that, Publisher and Word are bad news when it comes to web design. Do test what you have done so far in a wide variety of browsers, you may find they don't work too well. On the other hand you maybe lucky but please don't do it again. :)

    1. You'll need to get all the stuff: photos, logos, text onto a cd.
    2. How many pages - name the pages: eg contact page, about us etc.
    3. Do you have a domain name and hosting for this. (email address)
    4. How are you going to maintain it when it's designed.
    5. Facebook campaign to run in conjunction?
    6. Downloadable acrobat "program of events"?
I would suggest if you need to edit pages yourself (ie on a regular basis) I would suggest someone who can create a cms based website.
    OR
possibly a blog (customised?) could possibly be the handiest.
The country's full of people who chuck up those Wordpress sites.

There must be one who needs a bit of free advertising

I agree - If it needs to be updated regularly cms is the way to go (aformentioned client from hell did not have one...)
