Samsung Galaxy S & uploading to Youtube!

I got this phone at Christmas and have had no problems with it aside from Youtube!

I have tried many different ways to upload a video to youtube, and without even a 1 second gap it gives me the error message "failed to retrieve account information".

I have tried to log in manually to youtube first and it always times out.

Has anyone else come across this and if so, can you please help me to fix it? I have a video of my son rolling over for the first time I need to share!

So i would be tempted to use the same company's search engine /You tube help files .

Have you linked your YouTube account with your Google account?

I can't seem to do anything with the app at all.

If I try to manually take the long way around and log in before i try to upload, the whole app crashes. If I try to upload from the gallery, it gives me the error straight away.

And yes, it is linked already as I use it with the PC.

Have you tried removing the app and downloading it again from the android market?

Possible that TubeMate from the market may log in .

Well, I can log in to Tubemate, so thank you for that (which is progress from everything else!) but.. I still can't share videos. When I press share in the gallery it just opens up Tubemate and (unless I'm being extremely stupid (which of course, is an option) I can't see how to upload.

When I look at the Help guide for tubemate, it tells me that when I share from the gallery it should prompt my email browser to open and forward the video to Youtube.
