You'd better get an update from your HQ. A couple of key indisputable facts.

Applying GB's Golden Rules (in hindsight) the UK has in fact been running a structural deficit since 2002.

    Thank you for your post.
Can you link me to evidence that backs up this point?

You do seem to have a habit of totally ignoring previous events.

Including, it seems, you own posts moaning about rudeness and lack of informative posts.

As I said. Irony is such a useful word. Hence I'm saying it again.

Graham I've put you on ignore.

I didn't realise that Martin Wolf was the Labour party economic spokesman. So he is expressing a personal view just like lots of people.

However like the Labour Party he doesn't say how the deficit should be addressed. Not surprising really as it wouldn't make for good reading.

At the end of the day we are all going to be poorer in order for the deficit to be tackled. This charade is really getting quite tiresome.

    F*ck. That's a shame.

I thought I was nearly at the point of winding you up by responding to your own whinges of rudeness, with, what seems, plain rudeness.

Seems I'd acomplished my task prematurely.

I guess it was the "what would labour do" that finally did it, put me on ignore, shut me up, don't have to answer that one.

Ho hum. Thanks for informing me! :D

He's an economist. He's expressing his opinion as an economist.

    Post PMQ radio discussion.

If I was at Labour HQ listening to it. I wouldn't have been impressed with the performance of the scapegoat. Hopelessly out of touch and unprepared. Just the same old party lines.

Exactly, its easy to criticise, much harder to be constructive and offer a viable solution.

The conservative party are not cutting because they think it will help the economy, they are cutting because the alternative is to be crippled by debt for decades to come. They've picked the best of two evils.
Faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

But you endlessly quote him as it supports your view.

Seems more like he's expressing his opinion as a Labour spokesperson.
