Redemption deal?

Hi

am looking for a new mobile, was after a HTC desire deal from vodafone as my wifes company now uses them and has a deal where family get 20% off(as long as you go through a vodafone shop or website).

I'd would of been happy with a £25 a month tariff giving me £20 a month to pay after the discount, HOWEVER NOT with the 100mins and 500gb that vodafone are currently offering on that phone.

SO I've been looking around for alternatives and found this deal:

Which is a HTC Wildfire at £45.96 a month with 15 months free by redemption which takes the cost down to £7.66 a month for an 18 month contract.

Now this sounds very good to me but I've no idea how it works at all or is it a con? Am I paying out $45.96 for the 18 months then have to make some sort of claim to get money back when it is over or does it work a different way?

18 month contracts are redeemed in 5 equal stages after bill 4, 8, 12, 15, and 18. You send in the bills to them and about two months later about £135 will be paid into your bank account each time. Have used them for three contracts and had no problems so far. £30 quidco as well.
