Flowgas delivered to Colchester £66.95 per bottle and thats with 52 bottles per annum

Currently paying £52.50 + VAT delivered from Flogas. Have been with them for 25 years (previously as D+F Fellows and then Essogas). Can't fault delivery. Have found that the price is negotiable. They tend to increase it occasionally, but will re-negotiate upon threat of going to a rival company.

Today quoted £63.72 one off 47kg delivered connected inc vat in YO7 from Flo-Gas after negotiating. We use about 1 a year for cooking.

Just looked up last billing - 22/11/12 was £59.75 Flo Gas dealer where I collected it. Cardiff.
At the time I could have bought at £49.95 locally if I had the right bottle to exchange, but it wasn't worth going into a new rental agreement & deposit for the little I use - 90% cooking hob and rarely lounge 'real fire'.

Try South Lincs Gases (Roman Road, Moulton Chapel) their phone number is 01406 380333, although they don't always answer, they do have an answer phone and they will get back to you. They are much cheaper than that!

Are all these prices based on you returning an empty bottle? We recently moved house and have some empty 47kg bottles plus some full ones but just interested in how the system works.
