Thanks will let you know,im impatiently waiting on delivery,;)
(I think because they are based so close to me they deliver themselves rather than courier etc.)

Guy delivered around 3.30pm,in a refridgerated Damn Delicious van,food was in bags rather than insulated box but nice n chilled,everything vacuum packed with use by dates 28th April,except sausages and burgers these are use by 12 April,each item individualy labelled,weighted and priced,the £79.99 pack contained £91.88 worth of butchermeat.
I wanted a quick dinner tonight so used some mince for bolognese...very little fat,minced finer than im used to,but this kinda made it go further in the bolognese sauce.So far im quite happy,wouldve had the burgers tonight but my Halogen oven "blew",im hoping to have these on Wedensday,everything else is in the freezer,will use the silverside joint at the weekend(that way i can slice leftovers for packed lunch sanswich meat),will maybe use the diced steak for a curry or casserole around Thursday,will post how it is.

Update on the meat pack... we had the 1/4pounders (grilled in my new Halogen oven from Costco)yesterday,they were delicious,very lightly seasoned,very meaty and very little shrinkage when grilled.
ive got the diced casserole steak in the slow cooker for todays dinner...
Edit/Update....the diced steak was very tasty and melt in the mouth after 4hours in the slow cooker,got the thumbs up from everyone,made a lovely gravy too...will update again at the weekend when ive done a roast,but i think this is gonna be a regular monthly order for me now,im well pleased with it.

Thats magic so pleased i agree its great to get a good bit if meat you can feel good about.:A

The silverside was lovely too...not as strong flavoured as the brisket,and plenty left for OH's packed lunch over the next few days...,I also made a fantastcic chilli con carne in the slow cooker with some mince,dunno why but it didnt seem so finely minced done in the slow cooker compared to the pressure cooker..preffered the SC.version.
I may try some of their home made pies etc next time i order,not on the website yet,but the guy said i can phone in an order to the Lanark butcher shop and request additional stuff that way.
And much as i enjoy the Costco meat,what a difference just to be able to freeze individual packs instead of having to weigh out and repack raw meat from massive big trays..that was a job i hated.
