Just been reading Lynsey's list again - glad I'm not the only Avon addict
I was actually jealous reading all that lot!
LOL where the heck do you keep it all???XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX:wave:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX0 -
Lyndsey - that is an awesome stash! So much good stuff, you could open a spa!
Reporting in on the Hair Conditioner as Fabric Softener test - I washed a fleecy blanket and a few tea towels - absolutely no difference from regular fabric softener, although a slightly soapy but clean smell, rather than the artificial smells you get with some softeners. I usually just use white vinegar, tbh, but this will be fine for use. So, one UU - half a bottle of Tresemme, now situated in the kitchen!
And yay, it's Friday! Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....
LB moment - March 2006. DFD - 1 June 2012!!! DEBT FREE!
May grocery challenge £45.61/£1200 -
INs
olay regenerist sample
JF Dream Curls & JF spiral style gel
Alberto hair gel - this was for DD so I am not counting it
2 packs of interdental brushes - bogof
MUA lipstick
I only actually paid 36p as I have a £10 lovetoshop voucher, actual spend before discounts £16.97 but had a superdrug 10%/25% voucher so this came down to £10.36, initially did not have the interdental brushes but after the various discounts it was under £10 and had to add something to use the discount voucher so added the brushes, something I do regularly use and dont have that many which were bogof but then got 25% off them as well. Also got another superdrug survey to complete
UUs
Sensodyne Pronamel toothpaste - down to my last 3 packs - HG product and would buy again
Boots intensive handcream - this has been open for ages and have been using for hands and feet to finish off - WNBA nothing special - have a few more hand/foot creams in my stash just started a Tesco foot one bought a couple of years ago as a glitch and bought about 6:eek: no need to replace for many months
Nivea face scrub sample - came from DD nothing special WNBA - just opened a full size L'oreal facial wash thats been in my stash for a couple of years.0 -
1 wee UU from tonight:
Lush Space Girl ballistic0 -
evening all,
uu elemis cleansing melt cleanser today, I was surprised how much I liked this as I've tried a similar product by Clarins which I hated. That said I wnba as there is no way I'd pay the RRP for it
keep pampering, xx0 -
UU:
- BS passion fruit cleansing gel
- Shockwaves hairspray
- Handwash
- No17 face powder
All above replaced from stash :j
Throw-outs:
- Avon precision eye-shadow blue - binned after DP said it reminded him of his Mum!!!!!!!!!!!
- Magic colour change lipstick - smells rank so I think its gone off!
- Ultraglow white magic lips - also smells dodgy!!
- Two Rimmel Star Shine glitter eyeshadow pencils - looks fab, till about half an hour later when all the glitter seems to have fallen onto my face!!!
- Johnsons baby lotion - this still looks and smells fine, but I reckon since I bought it 8 years ago and I've not used it yet then I'm not likely to!
To charity shop:
- Two almost full cans of shockwaves hair mousse. Since I had my long hair cut off, the curling and straightening types dont have enough hold for short hair.
Splutterers:
three toothpastesXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX:wave:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX0 -

I'm using this at the moment but have had to start using it as a night time cleanser only as it's making my skin quite oily.
Happy birthday Truidj. :bdaycake:
No more UU but do have a splutterer in the form of L'Occitane Verbena liquid soap. Reckon there's only one squirt left in it. Will go shopping in my stash later for a replacement. Have 2 x 500ml bottles, a 400ml eco packet of L'Occitane, an S&G hand wash and a Philosophy Pure Grace handwash so won't need to purchase any for a long time. We do keep liquid soap in both the kitchen and bathroom though.
Have painted my nails today. Am wearing my new Leighton Denny Indulgence lacquer Is a lovely red colour. Not convinced that I don't already have one similar but do love the high gloss you get with LD lacquers. Have a good weekend everyone.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Wow Lynseydee, that's a fab stash, you could wash a small nation with that lot.
How do you rate the avon facial skincare, I've never used it but have been tempted? The devil makes works for idle hands0 -
Two UUs for me: Atrixo Intensive Protection Hand Cream 200 ml. WIBA? No, it was effective but it was too greasy for me. I keep handcreams all over the place and this one was kept downstairs. So I've now replaced it with a 300 ml Nivea Soft, which will probably last years!
Also UU a No 7 Gentle Foaming Face Wash. WIBA? Yes, but only with a No 7 voucher as otherwise it would be too expensive for what it is.
I've just had my shower and am going to paint my toe nails with a Virgin Vie Goddess nail varnish. It's like a reddish/russet metallic colour.
Happy birthday to Trudij .0 -
Oh my! DD just received an unsolicited letter from Boots this morning asking her to become a Boots product tester. I don't know whether to laugh or cry :eek:0
