Has anyone else tried the sample Olay Regenerist SPF30 cream that was sent out a few days ago??

Tried it this morning and I dont think my skin likes it. Felt a bit itchy when I first put it on - and didnt feel as nice to apply as the 3 point serum. Wasnt too keen on the smell either.

Also, with the 3 point....it says to apply to 'decolletage' - does anyone actually do this??? :rotfl:

UPDATE: Just been on the website and it says:

To make sure you benefit from optimum protection and skin that appears more youthful and feels hydrated, apply Regenerist 3 Point Super Serum followed by NEW! Olay Regenerist SPF30 Flawless Skin Cream on cleansed, dry skin every morning – and use Regenerist 3 Point Super Serum followed by Regenerist 3 Point Treatment Cream at bed-time.

Have I been using this stuff wrong all this time???? I use the 3 point on its own under makeup and for me that works great. So did my face itch this morning because I used the flawless cream on its own without the serum underneath?

Guess I should read the small print when trying stuff out in future :o

I didn't know you could still buy the original oil of olay stuff. My nan used to have a glass bottle of it.
    :A

It used to be called Oil of Ulay, then they changed the name to Oil of Olay a few (??) years ago.

    Happy Birthday Trudij!

Finished a Dove bath creme yesterday, it was ok. Think it was a freebie. And will have to bin a purple Barry M nail varnish that's gone hard. Only in is the Regenerist sample.

One uu up for me this morning:j, Dirty works The Dream Cream Body Butter, wiba? maybe, this range is only available at Sainsbury's and is often half price (i bought at half price), takes a bit to rub in but moisturises really well and can still feel benefits next day but it's the smell, it's not bad but I'm just not keen.

Am going to start on a cheapy body butter from Tesco, Coconut one, not their own range but I think it was about £1.99 for a big pot, not sure whether I'm going to like it, smells a bit synthetic.

I didn't like the Flawless one either. Did nothing for my skin at all. I use the 3 Point Serum everyday, I absolutely love it. I usually use it on its own in the morning under mineral make up. I don't usually put it on my decolletage unless I've squirted to much out. I don't use it at night tho, I just use the 3 Point Treatment Cream on its own. They want u to use more so u buy more. I've worked out what works best for me and my skin and I'll stick to that:D

I think you can buy Oil of Olay in Co-op too, the original one that is, I saw it in there yesterday, think it was about £4.50 for the original beauty fluid. I didn't buy any though!

I'm almost finshed with 21 days of the S&G wish uopn a jar and I really don't like it! It's just too thick and heavy for my skin and I've got a bit of a break out. I think my skin looks a little brighter but I don't think the price tag or the what it's done to my skin is worth it. So I guess I'll e chucking the rest of it away when I'm done with it on Monday.

Question regarding "Wish Upon A Jar". What happens after 21 days? Do u have to leave it for a particular length of time before u start again, or what? Are u supposed to have used it all in the 21 days? I'm confused by this, but I am a blonde:p

    Hi all

Sorry for not posting, but I had my little princess, so been a little busy.....

I've read through the last few pages, for a quick catch up to see what you're all up to.....

Trudi - Happy Birthday, have a fab day!

Lynsay - Fantastic stash..... i'm jealous.... I really thought I had a massive stash but not a patch one yours......

Tara - Do you have some in's to confess to????

I've sinned - i've been on the grabbit board - purely for noseyness, but ended up buying:

BS - 2 make up bags but got free eyeliner (think this is going in the present stash) so doesn't really count. Coconut body butter (cos i've heard it mentioned on here so many times, so got to give it a try) Hemp hand cream mini.

Savers - (knew joining this thread would have a downside :rotfl:) Tresemme full body shampoo & conditioner 500ml (£3.49) and Vaseline hand lotion mini.

B**ts - oh god  3 x UG Spa Rituals hair exilir (£10) 2 x JF 3 day frizz (£7.50) 2 x Dove bath foam 500ml (£1.50 each) Dove deodrant (72p) Botanics Moisturiser & Eye gel, for hubby (£7.50) he was bought L'Oreal for men at Christmas and likes moisturising, he just didn't like the price yesterday :D 2 x Always (£1)

I'm blaming those on the B**ts offer thread for falling off the wagon...

On a more positive note I might put more bits on ebay.....

Has anyone got the perfume offer from this months Glamour? I'm tempted on getting it, but still umming and ahhing.....

I've tried the Batiste spray, but it made my hair white  am I using it wrong???

I've no use ups to report yet, although off for a soak in the bath so might have some later.....
