Need Broadband for 5 month

Hi,
I am moving to a rented accomodation for the next 5 month and must have BB. I went to ADSL guide web site but can't say that I found anything close to my needs.
1. I want to pay up to £15/month
2. Free activation
3. No minimum contract
4. I need at list 3 GIG download
5. I am happy with 1mb speed
Freedom 2 surf seems to have a product call Cascade lite but the minimum contract is 6 month otherwise you pay for the activation (is this another name for cancellation fee?). Can anyone advise on a package that contains the all the above?
Thanks a Lot

No 12 month contract but from T & C: Cancellation - When you join Virgin.net Just Broadband, you won't have to sign a 12 month contract or pay an activation or set-up fee. However, if you wish to leave our broadband service, you'll need to give us 30 days' notice. Please note that we reserve the right to apply a £50 cancellation charge if your service is cancelled within 12 months of activation. Unfortunately, this charge is necessary due to the cost of activating your broadband service.
Might be worth trying AOL 'no contract' deal0 -
lol, no 12 month contract but we will charge you if you don't stay for 12 months, that will teach me to read the small print0

Erm, I always thought businesses, like ISPs, generally aimed to make a profit - dirty word I know, but if they don't they go bust.
You want to pay £75 for 5 months BB but out of that the supplier is going to have to fork-out about £50 to BT wholesale for activation, so you actually want your BB for £5pm? Best of luck and do give us a shout if you find one daft enough.
Pay for activation and you've quite a few suppliers who will do monthly contracts but if you don't - expect a cancellation fee. They're not charities.0 -

This is true. Any supplier will expect you to cover the BT Wholesale connection cost if you don't sign up to at least a 12 month contract. All the monthly contracts will require this amount either up front to be connected, or, if you leave within the first 12 months of a contract you will have to pay this amount on top of your monthly payments. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

What you say do make sense business wise, but the thing is I already paid activation on my current deal 2 years ago with Pipex. However
Pipex are saying that I can't move my account to a new number and I will have to start with them from Scratch. (including activation).
Below is the email from Pipex (including the spelling mistakes):
Dear sir/madam
Thank you for your email.
Unfortunately you will have to cancel your account and reapply. There is no other way around this.
If you are keeping the same telephone number as soon as the cease has been completed you will be able to reapply.
If you have however changed telephone number you can apply for the new account today as long as the telephone number is connected. This order will take 7-10 working days to be activated subject to the BT line testing.
Dito , look like Freedom2surf with the 6 month min contract is the only way (strange when you read that they are a subsidiary of... Pipex).Five exclamation marks the sure sign of an insane mind!!!!!
