Sorry to refer way back up the thread, but are you sure this is correct?:18185 can't be used on Virgin.
Doesn't their 0808 freephone access number work on Virgin Media phones? http://www.18185.co.uk/mobilerates.php
It certainly used to work about a year ago. The call charges are higher than for BT customers with 18185, but less than VM standard call rates.0 -
08081 703703 is the code you use for 18185 on a Virgin phone. Dial that and wait a second or two, then put in the full number - my wife uses it all the time (and I don't mind as it's cheap!).0
