Hi All!

I'm on o2 £10 300min/unlimited texts/free o2 calls, using 100+ texts similar minutes, but now my old fone has failed.

Not approached o2 yet, dtill got 9months left to run, but would like a new Wave - looking at a girlfriends model. But they look dear & are there several versions of Wave as well!!

I never accessed the net, from my fone, 'cos need a screen I can see, but would consider other Samsungs with some features more than my U600 I think it is!! Bigger screen, clearer text & whatever you think I ought to look for.

I'm not sure how to proceed, do they let you change your tie in period, or should I just buy another cheaper fone?

So any sugestions welcomed, please.

Thanks

VB

They won't let you upgrade 9 months early. Its 3 months tops and then the extra time get added to the end of the new contract (so a 24 month deal runs 27).

Get a cheap phone and wait 6 months.
  • Have a look at the Orange San Francisco, it's about £100 on Orange PAYG (use the SIM for 08 calls or donate to charity via SMS), it's probably the best value for money handset out there just now in terms of what it can do (pretty much anything an iPhone can do!), you can unlock if for free then continue on with your 12 month contract and at the end of the contract you'll be on a 30 day rolling contract offering much better value for money than the standard 30 day simplicity.
