Very cheerful thread today

I have / will:
Short day at w*rk as I am heading off to the US at 5am tomorrow
Been paid :j
Packed lunch to work - not NSD though as I had to buy a new bag for cabin baggage - one of my DDs must have 'borrowed' mine without telling me
But I do have a nice new one now
Until THEY find out :rotfl:
One of my chooks laid an egg today - first one for ages :j I was really pleased as I lost a chook last week - only 2 now
Supper from stores - pasta, meatballs and HM tomato sauce (yum)
Will need to finish rest of wine from bottle as it will go off while I am away otherwise
It wasn't a full bottle though
Bye till next week

Nowpanicking sorry I didn't read your post this morning, Whats this about you feeling gutted? What are you like? You haven't done this for ages . It's like your brain is saying ' I am the same as before' and your heart is saying, ' I must do what I can my knee is getting better'. Ah hun, you did what you could, didn't you? You haven't let anybody down you know, you just wanted to perform like you did before and that WILL TAKE TIME! Look at your determination to take part. Ok it may not have gone the way you expected but give it time, apply the right measure of acceptance that it didn't go the way you would have liked, but that doesn't mean permanent!!:D
Well the baking went well. All the cakes have gone:eek: yummy and now I shall read some posts and get to bed early too. Have a peaceful evening one and all xx0 -

Sorry that you're knee is not holding up, mine isn't that good at the mo either. They're b*ggers aint they. When you think what they do, they're amazing though.
Sending you loads of empathetic hugs.0 -
Urgh I'm sorry all for drifting in and out of late. Not gotten back into the swing of things after being away for so long this year already. Went up to wales for xmas on 20th december, came back down on 31st december, had to go back up 16th january as step-mother passed away :-( sad but long time, coming, had been fighting breast cancer for about 6/7 years and fought a good fight!
So anyway after sorting my dad and my little siblings out and organising the funeral i am trying desperately to pull myself out of the relaxed cba way of life i'd gotten used to in north wales. Lol
I will attempt to at least say hi each day! LolNothing to report as yet...give me a minute...!0 -
