I have a HTC Desire and have downloaded a notepad. However, I often have Word documents which I need to amend when I'm not at home. Is there an App which would allow me to transfer a Word document onto my phone, amend it and then put it back on my computer?
Thanks. D.
Thanks. D.

I've got something called 'QuickOffice' that was already on my phone, no idea if you can format it on the phone though, might be worth a look! Might be in the Market as well if its not on your phone already. (I've got the Desire HD so might be different). What is pi? Where did it come from?0

Thanks. It is on my phone but my husband reckons that its just a viewer and that you can't make changes using it.
Just trying to save myself time as I currently write notes on the notepad, read them when I get home and then edit the document. Would be nice if I could just edit the document when out.

you can also use Google Docs on your phone now, both to view and edit0

The quickoffice provided with phones is just the free cut-down version. You probably need to upgrade it.0

Just tried Google docs, doesn't seem to be a case of an app but of going to docs.google.com. Seems pretty good, though the on screen keyboard means I can't see what I'm typing when I type it. Might find a bluetooth keyboard and see how that goes.0

I've created documents on it before, not just a viewer.

Try Evernote?0

Is Evernote not more of a basic note taking app than something with rich text/spreadsheet options/formatting?
I've got it actually, use it for quick notes/pictures/sound bites.0
