  • NSD 11 for me today :D Went to visit friends this afternoon and they made me a gingerbread latte which tasted exactly like the ones they make at Co*ta Coffee - they even had the right glass cups :) Told my DH we needed one.....:p

Also visited MIL for a quick :coffee: then home for h/m pizza and wedges - yummy! So I feel like I have had loads of treats today even though I haven't spent anything.

I think tomorrow will be an NSD too :j

You're doing fine SF, you have 10 NSDs under your belt already, and there are 9 more possilble left in the month...just try to get as many as you can...it's half-term for you, so look for things to do that don't mean spending money....like gardening, reading etc.

Thought DH was going to break our NSD today when he took his chequebok out to pay for some rugby tickets. Luckily the chap who is selling them to us, couldn't remember the exact price and didn't have the tickets on him...so they will be paid for another time, and if I have my way, on a planned spendy day!!
    :D

So able to declare today as NSD no 13 :j

Made some scrummy carrot and coriander soup for lunch - it was scrummy...there's a little left, enough for me tomorrow's lunch when DH and DS will have their bacon & eggs.

Managed to get some gardening done today, lots more hacking back and tidying up....things are looking better already! :)

Have a lovely evening and enjoy tomorrow.

Thanks guys, it's just I'm normally doing better by now! Things have seemed to cropped up all the time this month - and it's shorter than normal!

Hope you're taking care of yourself Spoon?
Thanks, BDINI, I'm fine, it's just been a long week at work - "boss" away and looooaaddss to do. Next week will be better, I think.
    Thanks for checking :A

Oooh enjoy your haircut & your new sideboards.... i love to hear about other peoples DIY just as much as my own!! :D

I could bore for England on the subject of DIY and how long OH takes to do anything:mad: Current project is making, yes ..... making, a post for the gate.. current timing about 2 months off and on:mad:. Next project is building some shelves for the too many books we have - estimated time for completion .... god knows:eek::eek::eek::eek:. He started "thinking" about building them 2 years ago.. we seem to have moved past the "initial thinking" stage as I caught him costing up some wood a couple of weeks ago, I think we may be moving to the "planning to do something" stage now.. or maybe not.....
