Have a distinct feeling tomorrow is unlikely to be an NSD though....
I'm pretty sure my £6 off a £40 spend at Mr T runs out on Sunday - and as I've hopefully got a visitor from last morning/early afternoon tomorrow until around 2pm Sunday, it looks like my only chance to use it will be early tomorrow (if I can actually find £40 of stuff I need/can use/have storage for while compiling a shopping list on their website).....
Checked my Mr T voucher and it's actually valid until 27th, which means another week to compile a shopping list (currently at around £25 of the £40 requirement), though looking at the current offers I may try and get it high enough to go and use it tomorrow.
Looks like no visitor again this weekend though, as he got up to several inches of snow - and I don't fancy him driving in it (on what isn't an essential journey) any more than he fancies doing so. So I can cobble myself something together with what I still have in the house from earlier in the week, without the need to go out for mashing spuds or salad (would have needed one or the other for the options I had if cooking for the two of us tonight)Cheryl0 -
Well it was a spendy day for me by 11am (which is early for me on a Sat I can tell you!) However, I do have nice 'new' hair and no roots which is always a bonus. Also won a bottle of eyedew on FB (link from the Freebies board). I don't use it but OH likes eyedrops, eyedew is just so expensive so normally I try and find him a substitue for £1 somewhere - so that's him sorted for a bit....or pehraps I could put it on fleabay and make some pennies.... hmmmmmmm
Need to get a few bits today - milk, bread, sandwich filler and the cat is insisting on being fed too - apparently the RSPCA don't approve of feeding animals every other day :rotfl::rotfl:
Did I mention my eBay dress (which I am 99.9% sure is a copy) turned up yesterday but needs a few stiches in places where the rouching isn't right. I contacted the seller who said send it back, but I need it for 5th, and don't want to risk trying to buy another when this one does fit ok and is in my hands. So I asked her to refund the $14.99 p&p so I could 'get it fixed at a dressmaker', and she's offered me $7  I feel that's a teeny bit cheeky - esp as the dress has a $98 tag in it, not $128 as she advertised (again making me sure it's a copy). Is it cheeky of me to ask for the $14.99 again or should I accept $7?Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Great news about DS :j I didn't get any of my 'real' choices and didn't want to go to the two I got offered after I saw them so I went through clearing. Ended up on a course I wanted, in the city I wanted and got a 2:1 for my degree. So, as my FIL says 'what's for you will'na go by you'(not that I use my degree in my current job :rotfl::rotfl:)

Well that was 'a few' years ago now, don't know if the system has changed. It was quite stressful going through clearing, I imagine a lot is done online these days, but then it was lots of phoning around, holding for answers etc etc.
I don't regret going to uni as such, but I haven't really used my degree (like a lot of my friends), it just seems to be expected to show I attained a certain level of learning - and a certain level of student loan
