Well, I've had a spendy day oooooonnnnnnnnnn..eeeerrrrrmmmmmm....*what day is it today? IS it!! Theeeennnnnn..* Ffffrrrridaaaay/no Thurrrsssd/no.no.definitely Friday, so I can add another 3 nsds to bring my total up to 10. Again, not an ideal way to gather so many nsds but every cloud & all thatMust be the time of year as Victoria is due her MOT this week _pale_ & I've a nasty feeling her exhaust won't make it
All you tekkie-type peeps, some advice if you would please? What would be the best way for me to get onto t'web from me muvva's & very much in the mse style? Not a clue who would have a wi-fi & as yet, I don't possess a lappy, so guidance on good deals & best buys on netbooks, laptops, pads etc greatly received. Not too tekkie tho :embarasse or I won't have a clue what you're talking about.

Holidayaholic - wow! I'd be a bit miffed at £70, even if it was for a 40th - how many are chipping in? It is a lot to ask people. Next time you're out and some people are on the wine, I would perhaps suggest that the wine is billed separately and those who drunk it can split it between them - I bet you're not the only people not drinking who felt a little miffed about paying for other people's wine.
Jinty - glad you like your new hair (well, hair do) and good news about the glasses.
Well I was going to pop out today and get bits for the week (for sarnies etc) but due to one thing and another am feeling really bah-humbug:(:( can't even be bothered to go and get milk - so hope we have enough until tomorrow. I feel like one of those big grey rain clouds in the sky. However, the silver lining of that is that it looks like I'm going to manage an unexpected NSD :T Will let you know later.

More annoying as we got talked into stumping up £70 contribution towards her present, which we just don't have. I don't want to sound mean & petty, but I can only be generous when I have money to give.
£70 - Jeeesus. That is steep, really steep. Can you practice saying 'No' and just leaving it at that. It's difficult at first (we did it in an assertiveness class) but really useful for people who talk you round. What was her pressie?....A Porsche? A horse?
