  • Today will be a spends day as I have to wait 2 hours for someone so I will get myself a coffee. So thats a total of 18 for Febuary. Many thanks Spoony for organising this months :j Now off to sign up for March :D
  • I'm afraid I missed my target by one day, coming in with only 7 NSDs. I think I need to work on it a bit next month, and just get used to doing things a bit differently. OH and I have discussed ways of organising things so that NSDs are easier to incorporate.

Whilst I would have LOVED to have hit my target, and am a bit disappointed not to have done so, I'm still going to celebrate my 7 NSDs. I definitely would not have managed anything like this before I started budgetting, so it's a good start. The only way is up ;)

((((((Hugs)))))) to you and your friend cw, hope things turn out okay soon.

Not been feeling great the past week, so was unable to do some shopping on Friday (already a spending day). That meant that DH had to get everything on Saturday...but managed to keep Sunday spend free. So I reached my target of 16 for Feb :j amazing really!!!

Got to go and payfor the past part of my course today, so spending today...mmmmm. Could well do a food top-up as well today so will hopefully startt March with a few NSDs, sounds like a good plan.

Hope you enjoy your month's rest Spoon, away from managing all of us unruly lot...but do pop your head round the door every so often!

Thanks again to BDINI for taking on Spoon's mantle...look forwards to your prizes in March. :D

Have a good day everyone. x

    Hello everyone!

Just been trying to remember what I've been up to since last Tuesday, when I was last on!

And I would like to report 2 more NSD's in the bag, and fingers crossed for the rest of today (might just sneak in under the wire!)

So I'm currently on 11/12 and holding out for one last day! :D

  • Well I am pleased to report that Friday was NSD #10 :j

Was a close thing though, nearly caved and got a takeaway but resisted and had half a quiche instead - not the same really!

Hopefully may squeeze another last one today, but not too sure!

Off to update my signature and put my target on for next month...

I am happy to report another 2 NSD's making my total for February 17 :D

There were coffee making facilities at DDs party, but I didn't have any change and asked DH if he had any.....he did ;) I would have done without otherwise.

Today I'm not going out anywhere as getting everyone sorted to start back at school tomorrow.

Good luck to everyone still to declare and well done to everyone who already has x See you on the March thread :j

  • Argh! Well I scraped and scrimped as much as I could but still have a dreadful target of 14 to announce. So 1 off my target, grr. But hey ho! On to the next month, and at least I didn't spend for half of the month... :)

Declaring on just 16/20 for the month - boo!

From Wednesday of last week all went a bit pear shaped - as soon as I knew I couldn't hit my target it all went out of the window. There is no reason I cannot hit 20 if I keep focussed as I usually only spend on Saturdays and Sundays.

If I can only keep on track it really helps with the overall spends for the month, and given our current situation, where pennies seem to get tighter month by month, I need to do everything I can to stick. Have set my new target for March with a little extra leeway - hopefully enough to keep me in check, without being too challenging.
Debt Free since Nov 11 (ish) (except the £118000 mortgage :o) as at Jan 2013 but still hanging around DFW as I need to Stay On Track.
