Hi lovely gang :A
Well it’s Friday again and nearly another month gone. I’m doing two roundups tonight, just to confuse everyone, going to start with Thursday as lots of you made your targets yesterday and you all deserve a mention:j.... so here goes. Friday’s will follow on the next post
Lots of NSDs rolling in and targets being smashed on Thursday, so well done to:
:j:j:jmuffin man 7 - for no 15, you’re definitely getting close now, keep going.
Sorry about your bad head, that’s not good, hope you’re feeling better today
:j:j:jdonna dynamo - for no 13, you’re doing brilliantly, keep going! Sorry about your problems, if you need a rant or some support we’re all here for you. Take care x
:j:j:jjinty - for no 14, its within your grasp now, keep going!
Fingers firmly crossed for Bertha. Good news about your work decision, the money is handy but your health and happiness are much more important. Be positive on Monday so they know there is absolutely no doubt about your decision and stick to your guns, you were doing it on a trial basis anyway and they can’t take issue with that. Take care x
:j:j:jelf06 - for no 14 - one more to get now, you can do it!
Thanks for the offer of help, very much appreciated x
:j:j:jkatenut - for no 11, even if you don’t make your target, 15 NSDs is quite an achievement and you should be proud of it. The girly night out on Saturday sounds fun and thanks for your comments, really appreciate them x
:j:j:jAlwaysHappy - for no 13, you’ve definitely smashed your target now, that’s brilliant!
:j:j:jYorkielass - for no 9, nearly there now, keep going!
:j:j:jjaffacakegal - for no 9, one more to get now, you can do it! Thanks, all sorted now x
:j:j:jkarma-chi - yay!!!!! 10 NSDs and your target met, that’s brilliant, well done you!!! :j:j:j I’ve awarded your prize now, hope you like it. And no 11 as well, so your target smashed and another prize for you! :j:j And well done for 4 in a row, a prizlet for that as well - a bumper night for you then!!:j
Thanks for the offer of help, really appreciate it x
:j:j:jDansMum - for getting to no 12, that’s brilliant, nearly there now!

Hello lovely gang:A
I'm going to have to admit defeat tonight:(. I've updated all the numbers from Friday's NSDs and awarded all the prizes but I'm tired now so calling it a day. Will do the update during the day tomorrow and back tomorrow night with Saturday's update.
Hope that's OK with you all.
See you tomorrow
'night everyone

I thought I detected a lovely fragrance wafting around...........
Good morning everyone, Saturday! Yay!
Bertha is still in that garage. She failed on three things for MOT - a spring (?), the windscreen washers (fixed) and the hazard lights which were a bit temperamental. He's having a problem with them ( needing a switch I think). I dont think any of these things are too costly or he would have let me know before doing the work. Anyhoo, it will be Monday before its ready. I'd rather do without it and have it fixed properly IFSWIM. We have the other decent car to use meantime, but OH needs a car for work so he will use that.
Dont know what we're up to today. We were going to paint the kitchen, but OH has had a really heavy week at work, so we might postpone and have a lazy one.
Sis has invited us down for coffee this morning so that will be nice!
Catch you all later
Have a lovely day everyone:)
you will always be rich enough to be generous.0 -

Spoony you do a great job updating.
NSD 15 was Thursday. Since then I've been bad
I'm getting a bit tired of scrimping and saving and I'm having to sit on my hands and hide my car keys to stop me hitting the shops.0 -

Know what you mean. Having been really self-controlled most of the time I've crumbled on 3 occasions:
This month I've bought myself a breadmaker, a kindle and a sat nav. I console myself with the knowledge that if I hadn't been trying to save on these various challenges that I wouldn't have had the money to buy them. Mind you, I've had to break into my savings to help pay for the satnav and bm...:o0 -
NSD no 14 for me please.
Can I put myself down for another 14 for next month please?** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **

Spend day for me - and it's going to be a biggie !!!
So far I've spent....
£2.18 at the local greengrocers (2x2lb bananas, 1 savoy cabbage, 1 pack 10 satsumas)
£5.15 at B'n'M (1 torch, 3xsausage cassole mix, 1 pot herb and lemon fish coating a la Mr Oliver, 2x20 stayfresh bags, and a pack of white chocolate chips so I can bake some cookies)
£9.67 at Lid! (2xjar Bist0 best granules, box of cereal that's a w/end deal, 2xpacks the weekend deal frying steak, 4x80 teabags, 1xpack leeks, 1xbag Granny Smith apples, and a cucumber)
£4.69 at A!di (2.5kg white spuds, 1kg salad pots, 2xpacks brocolli, 1xbutternut squash, 1x15 pack eggs, and an iceberg lettuce)
and
£9.64 (before staff discount) at Mr M (2x6 pack Mvller Light yogs on half price, 2xpacks biscuits on half price, 1xtub cottage cheese, 1xwhite cabbage which was reduced from 67p/kg to 45p/kg as seconds, 1xpack radishes, 1xbunch spring onions, 1xhalf honeydew melon, 1xjar value clear honey, 1xtin spray cream, and 1xpack value STs)
Had something weird happen with the butternut squash though. The sign said 89p/kg, and the one I picked up confirmed that price with the actual cost being £1.02. But on checking my receipt it went through at 69p just
So that's £31.33 so far (though £3.62 of that is non-food items - and I've just noticed that the-non food item from work has gone through at 35p when the sign said 28p, so I'll be heading back down there to complain), but my push-along 'granny' shopping trolley was so full I couldn't keep the cover down on it walking home
I've still got my Mr T shop to do, which will be at least another £40 (though I'm still trying to find enough non-perishable goods to get me up from my current £31.20 to £50, in order to get the petrol till spit!)Cheryl0
