BDINI - Many thanks for offering to supervise us next month congratulate.gif

SPOON - I hope that you enjoy your well deserved break morning2.gif

I did consider offering, but my main concern was the first week. I'm off work with lots of plans (including exercise and decluttering), and knew I'd end up spending far too long on here instead in order to ensure I didn't miss anyone's declarations !!!

Today could be another NSD for me, but until I know what's happening over the weekend I don't know if my big grocery shop will be tonight or tomorrow morning. Still no D/Debit out of my bank (looks like some of the 'late in the month' ones may not go out until early days of next month due to there being less days in Feb - they've done that to me before now looking back at last years spreadsheet), but I had one minor stumbling block that could have spoiled things for me.....

Had some forms to post back to a company that have a deadline for return of next Tuesday (as I don't want the 'default option'). They gave me a reply paid envelope (1st class), but I like to send official forms by recorded delivery which means I have to pay the 74p to upgrade it. In an effort to not have to part with cash I checked the current value of the 1st & 2nd class stamps in my purse (which I've had well over 12 months, so didn't cost me the current value either - I've actually noted on the book of 2nd's that I paid 30p each and they're now 32p ;)), but one of each came up 1p short. So I dug deep into the pocket I keep stamps in, and couldn't believe my luck when I found a 1p one :T I'm guessing someone must have sent me in part payment for something, and I've just not had cause to use it in the past.......

So I've been to the PO and posted the letter off as recorded mail without spending a single penny :D

And I've even pulled a pint of milk out of the freezer and started the defrosting in the micro, as the milk in the fridge started to split in my first brew of the morning :o

The lengths I'll go to in order to try and maintain an NSD these days is amazing me rolleyes2.gif
