Have been absent for a wee while as Dad passed away on Sunday evening. I haven't been adding up the NSD's but as there is so much to 'so' at this time, i have not been spending. I think i am up to about 15 NSD's at least though. I'm trying to keep things as 'normal' as i can, trying to keep myself focussed so i don't go totally insane with grief, hence why i am logging in to the site. Will update siggy shortly.

I'm so sorry Kath to hear about your Dad, thinking of you and your family hug.gif

Oh dear Elfen, I'm sorry matey :kisses3:
    Hi everyone
I've been thinking (dangerous sometimes) and I've decided I need bit of a break from running the challenge. My job is really busy at the moment and, with everything else, it's all getting a bit much, tbh.

Just wondering if anyone would like to take over for March. I'd be happy to help if needed but I'd like to hand it over for a month to give me a break.

    Hope this is OK.

    Thanks a lot
    spoon xx

Spoon, I know how hard you work on here and in your own job. So I totally understand, sorry I can't help much.....I would if I had half the energy you have xxxxx :A:A:A

  • Big hugs to both Katholicos and Elfen, hope you are both doing ok.

Spoony - I honestly don't know how you keep up with everything on here, it's hard enough for me to go through everything every day and work out where I'm up to with my own NSDs! Hope you get the time out you need.

Had a very definite NSD yesterday so 9 NSDs in total now :p

Getting very close to that target!

Looking forward to Monday and the end of Feb so I can start a new page in my budget book, analyse what I've spent and hopefully make a better plan of action for next month to increase my target!

Couldn't agree with you more on this, for some reaons Feb has been a total pain in the 'arris.

Still on track for a NSD today....just popped into Mr T (Branston beanz on BOGOF for packs of 4, £2.45 per pack, so not as good as the £1 for 4 offer but they are my fav beans) Oh, and a tin of spaghetti letters for OH (yes, he really should have grown out of these by now I know :rotfl:) Total £2.81 - but still had change from the £ OH gave me yesterday, he's really rescused my NSD target this month :happyhear

  • OK, I've been off line for a while . . . so I have another 4 NSDs to declare, Mon - Thurs this week, which means I have 11 NSDs (beating my target) and four in a row, which is a personal best :j

Sorry to hear your sad news katholicos and elfen ((hugs)) to you both.

Spoon, I think you deserve a break, and we'll manage with self policing! I might regret this . . . but I think I could run the front page thread if people would like, although I don't have any of the great smilies prizes! I'm away for a couple of days in the middle of the March, but otherwise I should be able to check up every day. It is about time I gave back something back to all you lovely people, even if the responsibility is a bit scary!

Hugs to those who need them xxxx

Spoon I dont how you manage this thread, I do the MFW weight loss one and its a nightmare and teeny tiny compared to this one :p I agree that we can self certify and motivate each other when needed. I wish I could help more but work getting busy again now...

  • 14 NSD's for me now! Only one left to squeeze in, although I am not sure I am going to make it as my sister is coming to stay with her kids for the weekend! I will have to try try try!

Spoon, as much as we all love you and the support you give us all, I am sure we can cope while you have a rest, as long as someone starts off the March thread, we can keep a tally ourselves. It wont be the same tho! :( Best wishes! x

Spoon - thanks for all your messages of support and prizes of achievement. If I wasn't so busy with work and uni I would give it a go but life is quite frantic for me too at the moment
