Well, Flying had been going well, then I got a letter though saying that my landlord hadn't been keeping up the mortgage payments and we're now under threat of repossession. So, the last two days have been spent list writing and house hunting and as a result, I think I've done just a shade more than SFA!!

That sucks... However I rent my house and I am sure there is something in there that protects the tenant should the landlord end up hvaing the house repossesed.

It would be worth checking out - but im sure there is something with says the bank just cant come along and kick you out. I think there are instances where people have remained as sitting tenants and rented the house directly from the bank. I also heard that the rent is frozen as per your lease agreement so they cant just swoop in and up the rent.

It might be worth checking out as you may not be immediately homeless...

Repossession proceedings can take months/years too...so hopefully this can by you a bit of time if you do have to move.

    Hugs x

This happened to a friend, the repossession got cancelled, then a couple of months later, it happened again, they couldn't stand it so they moved in any case.

I was flicking through the latest issue of my professional magazine at work yesterday, and there was an article on the tenant's rights in this situation. Get yourself down to CAB and they'll be able to tell you where you stand.

    Good luck :T
