Blackberry Bold help

I have a Blackberry Bold 9780 i dont use and i have given it to my son who was using a BB curve, trouble is the bold was on vodafone, and his sim is T mobile, I have unlocked the bold and it accepts the sim, he can make calls and sms but he is having problems with the settings for the BB services etc.

Any help greatly appriciated.

Have you released the pin from Voda ? The BB services won't with out it.

Not sure quite what you mean, i understand this handset has a different pin to the other, what do i need to do to release it from voda?

Just had an email on the phone from BB stating "your handset has now been registered with the wireless network"

You don't "release pins" anymore, haven't done for a year or so.
