Thank you for an easy, pleasant transaction.Excellent buyer. A++++++.

Is this feedback message some kind of default?

I've just noticed a buyer (non-paying buyer at the moment) has had 6 completely different sellers leave her this feedback in the last seven months. I only noticed because two of them left identical messages on the same day.

Seems a weird coincidence otherwise!

It does sound wierd coincedence does that. Maybe they looked at what other people left? What were the items - they werent from someone using multiple identities to get the feedback rating up?

I must admit I often leave the same message for the people I deal with - but thats different as its for different people.

    Feedback the same:
    Once - normal
    Two - normal
    Three - abnormal
    Four - even more abnormal
    Five - wierd/spooky
    Six times - fishy!

  • I think it must be a power seller thing. The all seem to come from high volume sellers who use about 3 randomised default messsages.

Theres an option to automatically leave feedback when you click the item as being shipped or something. Otherwise the massive powersellers would have to spend hours doing each feedback.
  • I knew it was possible to leave feedback automatically... I thought people would at least take the time to think up their own, though! :rotfl:

Are there definitions of what these "grades" mean anywhere. I'd really like to know the difference between somebody with an A+++++++ rating as opposed to somebody with only an A++++++.
    Or not.

Inane feedback like this continues to make a mockery of the whole system.
    Can I help?

No, thay may have to spend 15 seconds doing each one. Seems a small price to pay for a successful transaction.
If you're a professional seller you should show some respect for your customers.

    I totally agree too.
    It's just laziness.
I put thought and effort into my feedback to ensure it reflects my experience correctly.
It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.

I brought this up on here before under "dodgy feedback?"

I'm suspicious of it - I have heard of people buying feedback etc. so I was curious about a buyer I had who had a relatively low amount of feedback (about 50ish) and she had several instances of exact same feedback from different sellers and they were less generic than the one quoted buy the OP. I look at my own (over 150) and not one crops up more than once - although obviously wording can be similar.

I've looked at people who have 1000's and most people don't have the exact same feedback crop up (as far as I can see) from different sellers/buyers.

Most people who replied to my thread believed this person's fb to be genuine - but I'm still not convinced.

Maybe there are ways of falsifying Feedback that most people are not aware of.

Unless she's somehow getting out of the sales yet still getting left positives... it seems legit in this instance - we're talking £15 and £50 BINs.

Maybe if she ever bothers to pay me I'll ask her ;)
