Virgin Media Internet - Slow Lately?

I live in South Wales and I've found that the internet for the past week to 2 weeks has been REALLY sluggish and slow...
I'm on a 10mb connection but sometimes feels as though its dial up
Any other issues in the country? A lot of friends who live here are saying the same thing but Virgin maintain theres nothing wrong

They don't deliberately slow speeds, they traffic manage, they're two different things.
Things like P2P and Newsgroups are traffic managed, and since they've brought in traffic managing I've seen my speeds hit 50mb at all times of the day, which just shows that (in my area at least) it was the people downloading illegal material that were slowing down the network.0
