I have an annoying Trojan and I can't get rid of the rotter,I've tried anti virus various programmes and nothing,still there diverting me to sites I don't want to go on.

malwarebytes, full scan, fix anything found before closing (otherwise you'll have to do it again)

you sure is trojan and not malware instead? try http://www.filehippo.com/search?q=malwarebytes download install then update defintions then run full scan dump rubbish. and if is make sure reg run updates and scan btw is free version so no cost involved.0

if you want a full wipe you need to reinstall windows a new with a full format! rolling backup using system restore will not clean it all up and can leave traces as well.0

personally i don't know why you don't use malwarebytes its free its obvious you just picked up malware from a dodgy site you have visited and wiping cleaning with new reinstall of windows will not stop same thing happening again at least with malwarebytes you can clean muck away thats why you should have some anti-malware as well as antivirus. one of the most common mistakes people make as they think one program will keep everything clean truth is it doesnt work like that.0
