Calls and Web on Samsung Galaxy Tab? Not with Vodafone!

Been with Vodafone for years without upgrading, now I finally want to it seems that they are not selling the model I need as a phone! I would love a Samsung Galaxy Tab to show my customers videos pics etc as well as a phone, but after a call to Vodafone all they could offer was a tarriff for high use web, then swap my sims over when I wanted to call people - but what if people try and call me?!! Very strange suggestion from customer services, now I'm left in limbo wondering what to do!
