10p for a print at the shop sounds cheaper than I could print them myself as photo paper must cost more than 10p a sheet.

    Come again?

I am going into buying a digital camera, so I need to think about how to get my pictures.

Sorry Phil, I'm still feeling awful, and took it out on you. Sorry.

In that case, I think it's a matter of you shopping around and seeing what several shops charge, and how much it would cost you to print them yourself when you consider the cost of paper and ink per photo. Shop around for the cheapest of these supplies and then you can see which is more convenient for you.

Yeah, well, photo quality paper is expensive. As I say you have to see how much it will cost you on average to print them, and how much the shops in your area charge to print them.

My Mum and Dad want real photos as they dont really do computers.

So if they can get used to take the Pics and taking the memory card to the shop(just like you do with film) then thats what I want.
