  • I would suggest downloading Picasa 2.

Then you can resize it and set the pixels for webposting (96)

Free download, very useful, give it a try.

    should manage it
  • If you're running Windows XP, then nothing is simpler than the XP Powertoy "Image Resizer". Just right-click the image or images within a directory window, and choose from small, medium or large (or custom) image size. It's really quick, and soooooooooooo simple.

    Download from http://download.microsoft.com/download/whistler/Install/2/WXP/EN-US/ImageResizerPowertoySetup.exe

72 dpi is usually thought adequate for images on the net.

    Yes Your Dukeiness :D
  • Hi. Have tried resizing the photo on paint ect but this is the message i keep getting when i try to upload the image onto the website.

    Error
One or more of the images or attachments you uploaded exceeded the maximum allowable upload size (which is 30 kilobytes). These images or attachments have been removed from your post. If you would like to include images or attachments, upload new files after you make sure that the size is not greater than 30 kilobytes

Not sure what to do now? Any suggestions lovely people in the know?

if the image is very small pixel wise, youve reduced it in paint pixel wise, it might be quality wise you need to reduce it

For a 30Kb file limit, you're probably talking about an image of 350 pixels square, or thereabouts. How does that compare with what you're trying to upload?
  • Have also tried resizing it with the suggestion HalleluiahMan gave but that didnt do the trick either.
Told you i am rubbish at this kind of thing (sorry)
Might give photoshop a try then.
    Thanks
