Options
Hi everyone this is really annoying me and cabt seem to get a stright forward answer from virgin media so im on my wits end on who should i contact.

Everymonth for the past month i have been charged 49.48 for broadband L Version their smaller 10mb broadband service. Which i only use on the weekend or studys to Yet from looking in papers and online their adverts avertise the same connection for either 11.79 a month or 6.99 a month  yet no one can tell me why am i being charged 49 quid a month? when i agreed to come back to vm the operator said i would be 18.00 pound a month just for broadband im so furious can anyone add up at their call centre as i have paid now over 5 times 50 quid almost

who can i write a complaint to? seems every month its gets bigger and bigger just for a sub-standard internet connection?

Virgin provide itemised bills and each item has a standard price. Look at yours and find out what is on the bill that you don't have or use.

If you get your bill by post there is an instant saving by opting for online only. If you psy by cheque there is another saving by moving to DD. If they deduct the wrong amount by DD you can complain to your bank.

Do you have Virgin phone line aswell? if so there will obviously be the Phone line rental which is somewhere around £12-£15 a month, ontop of the £18 a month for the BB that makes it £33 + any call packages your on such as free evenings and weekends etc....

Definatly get online and look at your bill should detail exactly what there charging you for....

Part of the Furniture 10,000 Posts Name Dropper
Advert is £6.25 for first six months only then £12.75 and Virgin Phone line rental of £12-24 . So that would be a minimum of £25 a month .
IF YOU HAVE A VIRGIN PHONE LINE ONLY

No Virgin phone line and its £20.25 a month plus BT line rental .

What contract did you sign up for as you are charged on that not the price that is on a billboard you may have signed up for a far more expensive service or at a much higher price .

The 10Mbps service is cable so there is no need for any phone line and certainly not a BT one. No VM phone does = dearer broadband as you mentioned though.
